The v4 API is deprecatedThe v4 (Contact Tracking) API is deprecated and will be sunset on June 15, 2027. Please follow the migration guide to move to the Events API in the latest stable Omnisend API version.
Contact Tracking API supports two kinds of events:
- recommended events
- all other events
All events could be used to trigger automations but only the recommended events could be used for segmentation. Please see this page to find out which properties could be used for segmentation.
All events (including recommended events) could have additional custom properties of your choice. For more details on how to send those properties please see the track endpoint.
